Workshop on integrated solid waste management in Vietnam was held at Pullman hotel, Hanoi on 11th August, 2014. 15 representatives made presentations and about 150 participants attended this workshop for sharing issues to be solved integrated solid waste management in Vietnam.
The workshop was opened by Ms. Phan Thi My Linh, Vice Minister of Ministry of Construction in Vietnam and Senior Representative from JICA Vietnam.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Tien, Director of Administration of Technical Infrastructure, MOC subsequently presented overall about solid waste management in Vietnam.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Hai, President of Hanoi URENCO also presented current situation of solid waste management in Hanoi, especially focused on Nam Son complex site.

Mr. Hideki Wada, the team leader of this project introduced Japanese Solid Waste Management system and gave some messages about how to work master plan effectively in Vietnam.
