Overall Goal
Integrated management of municipal solid waste is established in accordance with the National Strategy on Integrated Solid Waste Management.
Project Purpose
Capacity of municipal solid waste management is developed comprehensively
in central and local governments.
Expected Outputs
1. Capacity of Ministry of Construction on management, policy-making, and support
system for local governments to execute National Strategy on Integrated
Solid Waste Management is enhanced, in particular for municipal solid waste
management.
2. Department of Construction of Hanoi People's Committee enhances the capacity on implementation of
municipal solid waste management.
3. Technical support capacity of Ministry of Construction for preparation of
integrated solid waste management master plan, in particular for municipal
solid waste management sector, is enhanced through model province.
4. Advance knowledge of central and local government
officials on municipal solid waste management is acquired.
