Hideki Wada (Mr.), Team Leader
Mr. Wada, the
principal consultant of “Sustainable System
Design institute” is an expert on solid waste policy with over 30 years of experiences
in Japan and Asian countries, after he studied system engineering. Based on the experiences, he wrote a book "Waste Planning" (2005), which was prized by a Japanese
academic society on solid waste management. He worked as a chief advisor for the study project
regarding application of incinerators in Vietnam in 2013, in which he visited
more than ten local cities in Vietnam, and he was also a member of the project
formulation study for the 3R project in Hanoi in 2005. His
rich experiences in Japan both for the central governments and the local
governments for more than 30 years will be used for improving the solid waste
management standards in Vietnam.
Tamotsu Suzuki (Mr.)
Mr. Suzuki, Chief Engineer of “Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.”, has been a planner for solid waste management since 1973 when he finished his university. He has a lot of planning experiences such as composting plants, incinerators, material recovery facilities and other related facilities for local governments in Japan. It can be said that he has walked along with the history of solid waste management technologies in Japan. In addition, he has rich experiences in Asian countries which can be used for the project.
Norihisa Hirata (Mr.)
Mr. Hirata is an expert on solid waste management especially recycling with over 15 years of experiences. Among many experiences, a JICA project of Hanoi 3R is his major experience, in which he was in charge of the participatory recycling. Also the contribution in the project in Halong Bay can be pointed out as one of his major experiences for Vietnam. He worked with Mr. Wada for a long time both domestically and internationally as a member of "Sustainable System Design institute".
Ikuo Mori (Mr.)
Mr. Suzuki, Chief Engineer of “Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.”, has been a planner for solid waste management since 1973 when he finished his university. Mr. Mori is an
expert on solid waste management with over 20 years of experiences as an
international consultant, after he studied in England. He is working as a
Senior Consultant for "Kokusai Kogyo
Co., Ltd." Based on the
various experiences of solid waste management in many countries, he is able to
propose appropriate waste treatment and recycling systems considering local and
global circumstances. Such experiences and ability are to contribute to Vietnam
to establish a sound solid waste management system.
Susumu Shimura (Mr.)
Mr.
Shimura is one of pioneers of the Japan International Technical Cooperation in the
field of solid waste management. He belongs to "Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd." as a Senior Consultant. He can discern the truth which hides behind problems, find a solution and
realize it based on his long career in this field. His knowledge and experience
are very useful not only for industrial waste management but also for
other themes in this project.
Ichiro Kono (Mr.)
Mr.
Kono is a Senior Consultant and Head of Urban Environment Division of "Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd." He started his
career as a civil engineer of a big construction company and experienced in management
of various projects in foreign countries including waste management facilities.
After joining to the consultancy firm,
Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd., in 1999, he has been involved in planning and
design works for improvement of waste management in various countries. His rich
experiences in plan, design and implementation will contribute to the project.
