CSS in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province on 1st December 2017

On 1st December of 2017, the CSS was held successfully in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province. Representatives of 04 provinces of Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Son La and Lai Chau joined and practiced together with ATI's members.

CSS in Phu Yen Province, 17th November 2017

On 17th November 2017, the final CSS was conducted in Phu Yen Province for the central region with representatives from 04 provinces of Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh.

CSS in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, 10th October 2017

The final CSS in Mekong River Delta region was organized in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province on 10th October. 

Participants from provinces of Can Tho, Kien Giang, Long An, An Giang, Vinh Long and Hau Giang studied with their high attention about 02 practices of Develop of Evaluation Table for Request for Proposal and Calculation of Tipping Fee and Service Price.

CSS in Hanoi City, 25th & 26th of October 2017

On 25th & 26th October in Hanoi City, a CSS was held and completed fruitfully. DOC representatives from six Provinces of  Hanoi, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc and Thai Binh in Delta Red River Region participated.  

In the afternoon of the second day, all participants took part in a site visit to a Waste-to-Energy Plant in Nam Son Waste Treatment Complex.

The last study tour focusing on "Integrated solid waste management from the viewpoint of sustainable investment and operation of solid waste treatment facilities" was successfully ended on October 4, 2017.

On 27 June, 2017, we had a chance to visit the first regular waste incineration set up in Soc Son Complex.

2nd CSS in Lam Dong Province, 22nd of June, 2017

On 22 June, 2017, another CSS was held in Lam Dong Province for the central region including five central provinces: Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Binh Dinh, and one province from Kien Giang. Also, Ms. Kanto and Ms. Cam, JICA Vietnam participated.

2nd CSS in Long An Province, 16 Jun. 2017

Vietnam On 16th of June, 2017, the 2nd Co-learning Study Section (CSS) was completed Vietnam successfully with representatives from 05 provinces: An Giang, Can Tho, Long An, Vinh Long, and Hau Giang.

All participants practiced how to project the future amount of waste by using Microsoft Excel. They also practiced how to plan required treatment facilities referring to the "Guiding References" developed by the Project. Also, the document of "Request for Proposal" was introduced for inviting potential investors.

Japan Study Tour in April, 2017

The training course on Domestic Solid Waste Management in Tourism Area was taken place from 16th to 22nd of April, 2017 and finished successfully.

The Fourth Joint Coordinating Committee was held.

The fourth Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting was held on 12 April 2017. Key members of JICA, MOC, Hanoi DOC and Hanoi URENCO, Thua Thien Hue Province participated.
The revised PDM (Project Design Matrix) and PO (Plan of Operation) were discussed after the performances and achievements in year of 2016 was reported.

The academic workshop was held with inviting Japanese experts in Thua Thien Hue Province on 21^st of March, 2017.
