Seminar for capacity development of integrated solid waste management toward effective management and sustainable development, co-hosted by MOC and JICA Vietnam will be held on 15th January, 2016 at Hotel Continental Saigon, HCMC.

Summary of review activities with MOC

On 11th December, MOC and JET took a look back on the project activities and products so far, and discussed the activities towards the plan in 2016.

JET received a memento from MOC.  

Appraisal workshop in Thua Thien Hue Province

Yesterday, on 30th Nov, appraisal workshop for Master Plan formulation in Thua Thien Hue Province was held in Thua Thien Hue Province People's Committee, with the participation of related departments. Mr. Wada, team leader of this project made presentation and received comments for the Master Plan.

Meeting for activity progress of 2015 and annual plan of 2016 with the counterparts of Hanoi

On 25th Nov, we shared the activity progress of 2015 and annual plan of next year with the counterparts of Hanoi. 

Training course in Japan "Planning and implementation through public participation in 3R projects"

On 13- 31 Oct, training course in Japan was conducted with the title of planning and implementation through public participation in 3R projects and construction waste in Japan.

We had lectures from MOE, Kanagawa Prefecture, Tokushima Prefecture, Kawasaki city, Ichikawa city, Hino city, Saku city, Kamikatsu town and visited incinerator and recycling facilities, etc. 

As for construction waste, we had a lecture from Mr. Keizo Shimada, and visited mixed construction waste facitity,　Tomei Kogyo Co., Ltd.,  concrete recycling facility, Kawakami Shoten Co., Ltd., and construction site, Kajima Corporation.
