1st CSS in Can Tho City, 16th December 2016

On 16th Dec. 2016 in Can Tho City, the 1^st "Co-learning Study Session" (CSS) in this area was held with 06 provinces of Long An, Kien Giang, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, An Giang and Can Tho City. How to identify their issues in a "segmented" way was explained.  

Also, a site visit to Thot Not Waste Treatment Facility (Can Tho city) was conducted.

Progress of Project 2 (Drop-off system at HEPCO)

On 12 Nov. 2016, we installed drop-off system at HEPCO (Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Limited Company) for used dry-battery collection. We expect to collect it from staff of HEPCO and the neighbors.

On 18 Nov. 2016, we installed drop-off system at La Residence hotel for used dry-battery collection. We expect to collect it from the employees of the hotel.

Kick-off meeting in Thua Thien Hue Province

On 21^st Nov. 2016, kick-off meeting was held with JET, DOC, DPI, DONRE, DIT and other related departments in Thua Thien Hue province. The meeting was formulated for implementation of the master plan on solid waste management in the province.

On 14 Nov. 2016, we attended the schoolwide assembly at Nguyen Tri Phuong secondary school (NTP) in Thua Thien Hue Province for announcement of our project.

1st CSS in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province

On 11th Nov. 2016 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Provinc, the 1st " Co-learning Study Session" (CSS) was held with 06 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Binh DInh, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thua and Phu Yen. Guiding References developed by the Project were shared with the provinces. Mr. Wada explained the references and guided them to specify their issues to be solved.  

In the afternoon, all participants took a site visit to Luong Hoa Sanitary Landfill and its leachate treatment plant.
